dotstream is a radio tuner for iPhone. This page explains what it does with your information. The short version: dotstream has no accounts and shows no ads. It uses a privacy-respecting analytics tool to understand how the app is used — anonymous usage data only, never tied to your real-world identity and never used to track you across other apps.
dotstream is built and operated by Enigma Studio Inc., an Ontario, Canada software studio.
Our analytics are processed by PostHog on US-based servers, on our behalf. If you use dotstream from outside the United States, this anonymous usage information is transferred to and processed in the US, which may have different data-protection laws than your country of residence.
When you play a station, your device connects directly to that station’s own stream server. We do not proxy, record, or log your listening. As with any internet streaming, the station or its stream host may receive your IP address and standard connection information, governed by that station’s own policies — not ours.
dotstream is not directed at children. The usage analytics it collects are anonymous and are not used to identify anyone.
We may update this policy as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
